Stress, tension, anxiety – oh my!
Stress, tension, anxiety, pain are not bad – they are simply indications from your very intelligent body that it is a perfect time to bring awareness to something you haven’t yet been able to see. It may be an opportunity to look at a belief that is no longer serving you, a pattern that has been playing on repeat in your life, or become conscious of what your heart is longing for.
Today I was experiencing nausea and tension in my belly, and I knew it was something other than indigestion. I have learned to look to the body as a guide that can inform me of when something is ready to heal within me. I no longer stuff uncomfortable feelings, but see them as an opportunity to clear out whatever is no longer serving me. Since I have now had many significant breakthroughs in my life as a result of clearing these “charges” inside, I now get a bit excited when I discover that yet another one has surfaced. What a great opportunity to take another heavy boulder out of my inner satchel and give it back to the earth.
This video landed in my inbox at the perfect time. I had heard of and tried the “tapping technique” (or EFT – the Emotional Freedom Technique) a few times many years ago, but had forgot that I had it as a tool in my toolbox.
This video is a really good synopsis of what tapping can do for you, and it also contains a process where you’ll learn how to do tapping and can work on a specific point of stress in your body right now. It’s really powerful. I am feeling WAY better after doing it. I recommend that after the video is done you take 5 minutes and do your own tapping using your own wording.
